Carrot Chilli Pickle is easy and tangy and is a good accompaniment with almost every Indian dish
Required ingredients
- 250 g carrot
- 10-15 green chillies
- ½ tsp turmeric powder
- 3-4 lemons
- 1 tbsp. mustard seeds, powdered
- 1 tbsp. mustard oil
- Salt to taste
Directions & How to
- Peel and cut the carrots in thick planks. Slit the green chillies.
- Place it in a large glass bowl; add lemon juice, turmeric and mustard powder, mustard oil and salt. Mix it very well.
- Cover and keep it in direct sunlight for 2-3 days. Use within few days of preparation.
