Fried Mutton Chops are cooked with simple masalas yet they are tasty and crispy and goes well as a side dish in your menu.

Required ingredients

  • 1 Kg mutton chops
  • 2 tbsp. ginger garlic paste
  • 1½ tsp. red chili powder
  • 1 tbsp. white vinegar
  • 1 tsp gram masala powder
  • Salt to taste
  • Rice flour to coat the chops
  • Oil for deep frying
  • Chat masala

Directions & How to

  • Mix all the ingredients to the mutton chops, except rice flour and oil. Keep it for half an hour to marinate.
  • Put in a pressure cooker and let it cook for medium heat for 5 minutes and then 10 more minutes on simmer.
  • Let the pressure cool itself, dry if any liquid is left.
  • Heat oil in deep pan or wok, coat each chop properly in rice flour, deep fry chops in small batches till crisp.
  • Sprinkle chat masala and serve with lemon wedges and green chutney.
