Green Peas Parantha is healthy, tasty and simple to make.
Required ingredients
- 1 cup plain flour
- Salt to taste
- Water to kneed pliable dough
- Oil to shallow fry and 1 tsp. oil for the dough
- 1 cup peas, boiled and pureed
- ¼ tsp. ginger garlic paste
- ¼ tsp. garam masala powder
- ½ tsp. red chilli powder
- 1 tsp. oil
- Salt to taste
Directions & How to
- Heat oil in a pan; add and sauté ginger garlic paste in the oil for 1 minute.
- Add peas puree, salt, red chilli and garam masala powder and cook till all the water dries up and forms paste like consistency. Keep aside to cool.
- Mix flour, oil and salt in glass bowl, add water in small quantities to make a pliable dough.
- Make 8-10 smooth balls of the dough.
- For parantha roll out 2 disc of 3 inch diameter of the dough balls.
- Spread the filling on one disc and put the other on top of the filling, press the edges with your finger .
- Roll out further to keep it shape and size of parantha and shallow fry in a nonstick pan.
- Serve with you choice chutney, pickle or curd.
