About this recipe
Moongauri is the moong dal pakauri, very popular north indian snack.
Required ingredients
- 1 cup soaked moong daal( split green gram)
- 2-3 green chillies
- 1/2 tsp cumin powder
- Salt to taste
- Oil to deep fry
- To serve
- Green chutney
Directions & How to
- Grind moong daal and green chillies together to form a coarse paste, using little water.
- Add salt and cumin powder.
- Heat oil in a wok(not smoking hot). Drop dumplings of daal paste with the help of a spoon. You can also drop dumplings with your fingertips in oil.
- Fry till golden brown and crisp in small batches.
- Serve with chutney.
