Required ingredients
- 500 grams chicken lollypops
- Oil for frying
- 1tsp ginger garlic paste
- 1.1/2 tbsp soya sauce
- 2 tbsp red chilli sauce
- 1 tsp vinegar
- 1 tsp red chilli powder
- 1 tsp cumin powder
- 1 tsp coriander powder
- Salt as per taste
- 5 tbsp flour
- 5 tbsp corn flour
- 1 tsp red chilli powder
- 1/2 tsp cumin powder
- 1/2 tsp coriander powder
- 2 pinches of red food color
- Salt as per taste
- Water as required
Directions & How to
- Wash and rinse the lollypops.
- Combine all the ingredients listed for marination in a bowl. Blend it well and prepare the marinade.
- Add chicken lollypops and mix well. Cover the bowl, refrigerate it and leave it to marinate for around 4-5 hours, preferably over night.
- Take out the marinated lollypops from the fridge 15 minutes prior to frying. Separate the pieces from the marinade.
- To prepare the batter mix all the dry ingredients listed for batter in a bowl.
- Mix in it the leftover marinade and add required amount of water and prepare a smooth thick batter of flowing consistency.
- Dip the lollypops in the batter and deep fry in hot oil till golden and crisp.
- Serve hot with chilli sauce or tomato sauce.
