About this recipe
Hot dogs are usually a grilled sausage served in between buns. But here is a fusion of indo American recipes to make delicious hot dogs.
Required ingredients
- 4 hot dog buns (readily available at any bakery)
- 4 seekh kebabs, cooked (mutton Or chicken)
- 2 tbsp mayonnaise
- Mustard sauce to drizzle
- Green chutney to drizzle
- Tomato sauce to drizzle (optional)
- 1 large onion, finely sliced
- ½ cup cabbage, very finely shredded
- Oil to fry onions
Directions & How to
- Hot dogs buns are already sliced in between, but if not run a sharp knife to divide horizontally without separating the bun slices.
- Heat oil in frying pan and fry the onions till they are caramelized. Keep them aside.
- Lightly toast the buns in the same non stick fry pan.
- Spread a little mayonnaise in the bun; layer the caramelized onion and cabbage.
- Place the seekh kebab in between and drizzle mustard sauce, green chutney and tomato sauce (if using).
- Serve hot.
