Hara chicken roll has chunky and spicy bits of chicken rolled in roti to be savoured at anytime of the day.

Required ingredients

  • 6 dosti roti or roomali roti
  • 250 g boneless chicken in small pieces
  • 1 pinch green food colour
  • 1 tsp ginger garlic paste
  • 1/2 cup curd
  • 1/4th cup chopped coriander leaves
  • 6 green chillies
  • 1/2 tsp garam masala powder
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • Some sliced onion rings
  • Some grated cabbage
  • 2 tbsp mustard sauce
  • 1/4 th cup mayonnaise

Directions & How to

  • Add curd, coriander, chilies, food colour, salt, ginger garlic paste and garam masala powder to a grinder and make a smooth paste. Add this green paste to the chicken and marinate for at least 3-4 hours.
  • Heat oil in a wok, add the marinated ¬†chicken and cook it on medium heat till the chicken is completely cooked. Do not dry the chicken too much.
  • Spread the roti, add a portion of chicken onto it. Add some onion and cabbage. Drizzle mustard sauce and mayonnaise. Roll tightly and cover one side of it with foil to avoid dripping.
  • Serve hot.
