About this recipe

Cucumber raita, a very simple, easy and most commonly prepared raita. Its a summer delight, can be enjoyed with any rice preparations.

Required ingredients

  • 1 cup yoghurt
  • ½ cup grated cucumber
  • ½ tsp dried mint or 1 tbsp finely chopped fresh mint leaves
  • ¼ tsp cumin powder
  • ¼ tsp pepper powder
  • 2 pinches of black salt
  • Salt as per taste

Directions & How to

  • Whisk yoghurt till smooth. Add cucumber, mint, salt and black salt. Mix it well.
  • Refrigerate it till serving time.
  • Sprinkle cumin powder and pepper powder.
  • Serve chilled.
