½ kilo mutton boneless- cut into bite sized chunks
½ cup yoghurt – well beaten
1tbsp ginger garlic paste
1 tbsp pepper powder – freshly ground
1 tsp chat masala
1 tsp coriander powder
1 tsp cumin seeds
2 medium potatoes – cut into cubes same as the size of meat chunks.
Salt as per taste
3 tbsp oil
Chopped green chilies
Chopped fresh coriander leaves
Directions & How to
Mix yoghurt, ginger garlic paste and salt in the meat and cook it in the pressure cooker on medium flame till 3 whistles. Open the cooker after the pressure reduces. If there is any liquid remaining cook it again till the liquid dries up.
In a pan, heat 1 tbsp oil, add cumin seeds, when it splutter add potatoes, sprinkle little salt and fry till done. Remove it and keep aside. * Take care not to over cook the potatoes.
Heat 2 tbsp oil in the same pan put the meat and sauté it well till 2-3 minutes. Add potatoes, mix pepper powder, coriander powder, chat masala and saute it for another 2-3 minutes. Remove from flame.
Transfer it to the serving dish and garnish it with the sliced onions, green chilies, fresh coriander and lemon wedges.
