About this recipe
Sabudana tikki…crisp fried tikkis served with spiced yogurt…a very different, interesting and yummy way to enjoy sabudana tikki..
Required ingredients
- 1 cup sago or sabu dana - soaked
- 2 medium potatoes - boiled and mashed
- 1 onion - finely chopped
- 3-4 green chillies - chopped
- 2 tbsp chopped coriander leaves
- 1/4 cup crushed peanuts
- 1 tsp cumin powder
- 1 tsp pepper powder
- Salt to taste
- 1 cup yogurt
- 1/2 tsp roasted cumin powder
- 1/2 tsp pepper powder
- 1 green chilli - chopped
- 1 garlic clove - finely chopped or minced
- A pinch of black salt
- Finely chopped mint and coriander leaves
- Salt to taste
Directions & How to
- Combine all the ingredients for the tikkis in a mixing bowl. Mix well, shape into tikkis and shallow fry in hot oil till golden and crisp.
- To prepare the spiced yogurt, mix well all the ingredients mentioned and keep aside.
- Serve the hot tikkis with generous amount of spiced yogurt on top of it.
