Chicken on sticks are perfect dish for starters. Enjoy these delectable kebabs as a side dish or serve it at any of your tea party, these will be enjoyed every time.

Required ingredients

  • 500 g chicken mince
  • 1 egg, lightly beaten
  • 1 ½ tsp garlic paste
  • 1 tsp red chilli flakes
  • ½ tsp black salt
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 tbsp finely chopped onion
  • 2 tbsp finely chopped capsicum
  • 1 tsp garam masala powder
  • Some cornflour to coat
  • Vegetable oil to shallow fry
  • Chaat masala to sprinkle on top
  •  Bamboo sticks soaked in water for ½ an hour

Directions & How to

  • Wash the minced chicken and squeeze to drain out all the excess water. Leave the mince in the strainer for ½ an hour.
  • Now add garlic, onion, capsicum, chilli flakes and both the salts and garam masala powder to the mince and mix well for 3-4 minutes to season it evenly.
  • Add the egg, mix again and divide into equal sized balls.
  • Take each ball on your palms and shape around the sticks and lightly flatten them to make the coating and frying easy.
  • Press each stick in cornflour to coat and then shallow fry in heated oil till brown on both sides.
  • Sprinkle chaat masala and serve.
