About this recipe
Chicken on sticks are perfect dish for starters. Enjoy these delectable kebabs as a side dish or serve it at any of your tea party, these will be enjoyed every time.
Required ingredients
- 500 g chicken mince
- 1 egg, lightly beaten
- 1 ½ tsp garlic paste
- 1 tsp red chilli flakes
- ½ tsp black salt
- Salt to taste
- 2 tbsp finely chopped onion
- 2 tbsp finely chopped capsicum
- 1 tsp garam masala powder
- Some cornflour to coat
- Vegetable oil to shallow fry
- Chaat masala to sprinkle on top
- Bamboo sticks soaked in water for ½ an hour
Directions & How to
- Wash the minced chicken and squeeze to drain out all the excess water. Leave the mince in the strainer for ½ an hour.
- Now add garlic, onion, capsicum, chilli flakes and both the salts and garam masala powder to the mince and mix well for 3-4 minutes to season it evenly.
- Add the egg, mix again and divide into equal sized balls.
- Take each ball on your palms and shape around the sticks and lightly flatten them to make the coating and frying easy.
- Press each stick in cornflour to coat and then shallow fry in heated oil till brown on both sides.
- Sprinkle chaat masala and serve.
