About this recipe
Kaddu ki Sabzi is a simple and easy, tastes great with poori or parantha and goes well both in brunch and lunch.
Required ingredients
- 250 g pumpkin (kaddu)
- 1 medium sized onion, finely sliced
- 3 garlic cloves, chopped
- 2 whole red chillies, chopped
- 1/4 tsp cumin seeds
- 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
- Juice of 1/2 lemon
- Salt to taste
- 1 tbsp. oil
Directions & How to
- Remove the seeds and cut pumpkin in 1'' slices.
- Heat oil in a wok, add cumin seeds and garlic sauté for a minute.
- Add onions and fry till they are golden brown.
- Add pumpkin, salt, red chillies and turmeric powder. Mix well, cover and cook on low heat till they are soft.
- Add lemon juice and garnish with coriander leaves.
