About this recipe
Bathua Raita is a tasty and healthy dish, its rich in calcium and vitamin A and can be served with any rice dish.
Required ingredients
- 1 cup bathua leaves, chopped
- 4-5 garlic cloves
- 2 green chillies
- 1 tsp oil
- 1/2 tsp cumin seeds
- 1/2 mustard seeds
- 2 cup curd salt to taste
- 1 tsp cumin powder
- ½ cup boondi (optional)
Directions & How to
- Boil bathua leaves, garlic and green chillies for about 5 minutes.
- Strain the leaves and grind to a fine paste, when it cools itself.
- Heat oil in a small pan, splutter cumin and mustard seeds and temper the bathua paste with it; keep aside.
- Beat the curd lightly and the bathua paste, salt, cumin powder and boondi; mix well.
- Serve as accompaniment with any dish.
