About this recipe
Raitas are the best condiments in Indian food.Easy and tasty Carrot raita goes well as a good accompaniment to parathas and rice.
Required ingredients
- 1 cup yoghurt
- 1 carrot
- ΒΌ tsp cumin seeds
- 2-3 curry leaves
- 1 small green chilli
- Salt as per taste
- 1 tsp oil
Directions & How to
- Whisk yoghurt till smooth. Grate carrot mix it in yoghurt, add salt to it. Refrigerate it till serving time.
- Just before serving it ,heat oil in a small pan, add cumin seeds, curry leaves and green chilli, fry it well and pour over yoghurt.
- Its ready to serve.
