Rich and spicy flavour of chilli posta chicken will always be a hit on your dining table.

Required ingredients

  • 1 chicken ( in small pieces)
  • 1 medium sized onion finely sliced
  • 2 medium sized onion paste
  • 2 tsp ginger garlic paste
  • 1 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp red chilli powder
  • 1 tsp garam masala powder
  • 1/2 cup curd
  • 2 tbsp posta paste( poppy seeds )
  • 2 tbsp chopped coriander leaves
  • 5-6 green chillies
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil as required

Directions & How to

  • Fry finely sliced onions and keep aside.
  • Slit the green chillies, take out the seeds with the tip of your knife. Blanch them in boiling water for 2-3 minutes.Keep aside.
  • Heat oil in a pan, add onion paste and turmeric powder and saute for 2 minutes.
  • Add ginger garlic paste and saute for another 2-3 minutes.
  • Add yogurt and cook till oil separates.
  • Then add the chicken and salt and let it cook till half done.
  • Now add posta paste, coriander leaves, fried onions, blanched chillies and garam masala powder
  • Mix well. cover and cook till chicken is nice and tender.
