Aloo tikki, a very popular and very tasty fried snack. You can enjoy it just as it is or serve it with chutneys and chana and eat as a chat. Its  kids all time favourite snack.

Required ingredients

  • 400 g potatoes, boiled and mashed
  • 2 slices of bread- crumbled
  • Pepper to taste
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil to shallow fry

Directions & How to

  • Mash the boiled potatoes. In a mixing bowl, take the mashed potatoes, bread, salt and pepper and mix well to a smooth dough.
  • Make about 8-10 patties and shallow fry in a non-stick frying pan till golden and crisp. Remove on absorbent paper.
  • Serve hot.
