Crispy Fried Prawns

Crispy fried prawns… prawns marinated in a simple blend of spices and deep fried. A very simple yet tasty dish. Serve it as starters and relish it.
- 1/2 kg fresh tiger prawns - cleaned, shelled and deveined
- 1 tsp ginger garlic paste
- 1tbsp red chilli paste
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tsp cumin powder
- 1 tsp coriander powder
- 3 tbsp each rice flour and corn flour
- Chat masala to sprinkle
- Salt as per taste
- Oil for deep frying
Directions & How to
In a mixing bowl take chilli paste, ginger garlic paste, lemon juice, cumin and coriander powder and salt. Mix well. Add prawns and coat well with the paste. Cover the bowl and leave it marinate for 1-2 hours. Just before frying add cornflour and rice flour over the prawns and mix it well. Deep fry on medium heat till done and crisp. Sprinkle little chat masala and serve it hot .
