About this recipe
Easy to make and yummy to taste fish fritters or fish pakodas.
Required ingredients
- 500 grams fish fillets - cut into cubes
- Oil for frying
- 1/2 garlic paste
- 1 tsp red chilli powder
- 1 tsp cumin powder
- Juice of a lime
- Salt as per taste
- 1/2 cup gram flour or besan
- 2 tbsp rice flour
- 1/2 tsp red chilli powder
- 1/2 tsp cumin powder
- 1/2 tsp coriander powder
- 1/4 tsp red food color
- Salt as per taste
- Water as required
Directions & How to
- Mix all the ingredients for marination and marinate the fillets in it for 1-2 hours.
- Prepare a thin batter using all the ingredients given for making the batter.
- Dip the fillets in the batter and deep fry them in hot oil till done and crispy. *Do not over crowd the pan while frying, fry it a little at a time or in small batches for better results.
- Serve hot with tomato sauce or green chutney.
