About this recipe
Soya Bean Curry is full of protein and vitamins. It can be served as a main or side dish. You can also make it dry to go with other gravy dish of yours.
Required ingredients
- 1 cup soya bean chunks
- ½ cup green beans, finely chopped
- ½ cup carrots, finely chopped
- 1 small onion sliced finely
- 1 tsp ginger garlic paste
- ¼ cup thick tomato paste
- ½ tsp red chilli powder
- ½ tsp turmeric powder
- 1 tsp coriander powder
- ½ tsp garam masala powder
- 1 cup milk
- 2-3 tbsp oil
- Salt to taste
Directions & How to
- Prepare the soya chunks as per packet instruction and keep aside.
- Heat oil in a wok; add the beans and carrot and fry for 3-4 minutes. Strain and keep aside.
- To the same oil, add onions and fry till golden.
- Now add ginger garlic paste and sauté for couple of minutes.
- Add the tomato and cook further few minutes and then add all the masala powders.
- Cook till oil starts to float on top. Then add the vegetables, soya chunks and salt and mix very well.
- Remove from heat and let it cool down for about 5 minutes before adding milk.
- Now add the milk stir it well and cook it covered on low heat till you get the desired consistency.
- Garnish with coriander leaves and serve with paranthas.
