About this recipe
Chaney ki ghughni gives your tastebuds and health a boost. With this easy dish make your sunday breakfast easy and fulfilling or serve with evening tea.
Required ingredients
- 1 cup Kala Chana (Black Gram) soaked overnight.
- 1 medium sized onion chopped
- 1 medium sized tomato chopped
- 1/4 tsp cumin seeds
- 1/2 tsp red chili powder
- 2 green chilies chopped
- Salt to taste
- 2 tbsp oil
- Grated radish
- Lemon wedges
- Chopped coriander leaves
- Chopped onion
- Grated cucumber
Directions & How to
- Cook chanas with salt in a pressure cooker for 15-20 minutes till completely soft. Dry out any excess liquid leaving only about 1-2 tbsp of water
- Heat oil in wok, add cumin and green chilies and sauté for few seconds
- Add onions, cook till soft now add tomatoes and cook till they form paste like consistency.
- Now add boiled chanas, mix very well and cook further for 5 minutes.
- Garnish and serve.
