About this recipe
Muli ka achar is a tangy pickle, which is healty and can be served with paranthas, rice and main dishes. It enhances the overall taste of your meal.
Required ingredients
- 500 g thickly sliced muli (radish)
- 2 tbsp. mustard oil
- 2 tsp. mustard seeds (ground to powder)
- 1 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
- 1 tsp. nigella seeds
- Salt to taste
- 1 tbsp. garlic paste.
Directions & How to
- Put the sliced radish in a resealable bag and microwave for 8-10 minutes.
- Transfer the radish in a colander and keep it for about half an hour to drain out any liquid.
- Place it in large glass bowl and add all the other ingredients
- Cover the glass bowl tightly with a muslin cloth and keep in direct sunlight consecutively for 3 days. Mix in between 1-2 times per day.
- Transfer it to a clean and dry glass jar and use within 15-20 days.
- Serve with paranthas, rice dishes or main dishes.
