About this recipe
Imli ki Chutney is made with very common ingredients and a must accompaniment with various chaat and snacks.
Required ingredients
- 250 g jaggery (gur) or sugar
- ½ cup tamarind (imli) pulp
- 1 tbsp. ginger powder (optional)
- 1 tsp chilli flakes
- 1 tsp cumin powder
- ¾ tsp black salt
- ½ tsp salt
- 2 tbsp. raisins
Directions & How to
- Grate jaggery and put it to boil with half cup of water. Cook till all jaggery is dissolved and it becomes like thin syrup.
- Add all the other ingredients and cook till it forms a sauce like thickness. Keep stirring in between.
- Store in a clean jar for months in in the refrigerator.
