Raitas are the best condiments in Indian food.Easy and tasty Carrot raita goes well as a good accompaniment to parathas and rice.

Required ingredients

  • 1 cup yoghurt
  • 1 carrot
  • ¼ tsp cumin seeds
  • 2-3 curry leaves
  • 1 small green chilli
  • Salt as per taste
  • 1 tsp oil

Directions & How to

  • Whisk yoghurt till smooth. Grate carrot mix it in yoghurt, add salt to it. Refrigerate it till serving time.
  • Just before serving it ,heat oil in a small pan, add cumin seeds, curry leaves and green chilli, fry it well and pour over yoghurt.
  • Its ready to serve.
