Crisp Chicken strips flavored in green chilies and curry leaves.

Required ingredients

  • 500 grams chicken breast- cut into long thin strips
  • 4 tbsp yoghurt well beaten
  • 1 tsp chilli powder
  • 1 tsp black pepper powder
  • 1 tsp cumin powder
  • 1 tsp coriander powder
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • Salt as per taste
  • 3 tbsp corn flour
  • 3 tbsp rice flour
  • 7-8 green chillies - slit
  • 15-20 curry leaves
  • Oil for deep frying

Directions & How to

  • Mix together yoghurt, chilli powder, pepper powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, turmeric powder, salt and lemon juice. Marinate chicken strips in this paste for around 1 hour.
  • Mix corn flour and rice flour. Coat chicken generously with it and deep fry it till crispy. Keep aside.
  • Heat a tbsp of oil in a pan, add curry leaves and slit green chillies. Fry for a minute, add fried chicken strips and sauté nicely for good one minute.
  • Serve hot.
