About this recipe
Palak and Gajar Ki Pooris are nutritious and kids will love it for its green and red colour.
Required ingredients
- Oil to deep fry pooris
- 1 cup whole wheat flour
- 200 g spinach leaves, blanched and pureed
- Salt to taste
- 1 tsp vegetable oil
- ½ cup water if needed
- 1 cup whole wheat flour
- 150 g carrots, boiled and pureed
- Salt to taste
- 1 tsp vegetable oil

Directions & How to
- For the palak dough, mix together all the ingredients in a large glass bowl and knead into a stiff dough. Use water only if required to bring the dough together. Keep aside for ½ an hour.
- Likewise, make carrot dough. Add water only if required to bring the dough together. Keep aside for ½ an hour.
- Now pinch a small portion (half the size of a lemon) from each of the dough to make 1 lemon-sized ball. Do likewise with rest of the dough.
- Heat oil in a wok; roll out puris and deep fry them till crisp.
- Serve with your choice of vegetable.
