About this recipe
Garlic Mushrooms are great appetizer and they will be loved at any occasion.
Required ingredients
- 250 g mushrooms
- 1 tbsp oil
- 1 onion cubed
- ½ cup cubed green , red and yellow peppers
- Salt to taste
- 4-6 garlic cloves
- 3-4 whole red chillies deseeded
- 2 tbsp soya sauce
- 1 tbsp white vinegar
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil
- 2 tbsp tomato ketchup
- Salt and pepper as required
Directions & How to
- Boil the mushrooms with a little salt till soft. Strain and keep aside.
- Grind garlic and red chillies by adding a little water to a smooth paste. Keep aside.
- Mix together all the ingredients for the sauce and mix well.
- Add mushrooms to the prepared sauce mix to coat well. Let it marinate for 1-2 hours.
- Heat 1 tbsp vegetable oil in a wok. Sprinkle some salt and stir fry the vegetables on high heat. Strain and keep aside.
- Add the garlic paste to the left over oil in the wok and sauté for few seconds.
- Add mushrooms and cook till the sauce is reduced and mushrooms look glazed.
- At last mix in fried vegetables and serve hot.
