About this recipe
Cheesy parantha will be loved by kids and adults alike. Serve it at breakfast or as an evening snack or even at your kids birthday party.
Required ingredients
- 1/2 cup whole wheat flour
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp oil
- water to knead the dough
- 1/2 cup grated cheese
- Oil for shallow frying
Directions & How to
- Combine flour, salt and oil in a bowl. Knead a soft dough by adding water slowly. Keep aside for 15 minutes
- Make small potato size balls of the dough.
- Place 1 ball on a lightly floured surface. Roll out about 2" diameter in size. Place 1 spoonful filling in the middle. Bring together the edges and seal them. Do likewise with all the other dough balls.
- Press lightly stuffed balls in flour and roll out about 5" diameter roti.
- Shallow fry on a nonstick pan or girdle.
- Serve with tomato sauce. To serve as an evening snack, cut each parantha in 4 pieces, add grated cheese and sauce on top.
