About this recipe
Barbequed green masala chicken is a beautiful and tasty dish. Freshness of coriander leaves with blend of spices makes it a special dish.
Required ingredients
- 1 kg boneless chicken, in small pieces
- 1 bunch of fresh coriander leaves
- 1/2 cup of hung curd
- 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste
- 8 -10 fresh green chillies
- 2 pinch green food colour
- 1 tsp garam masala powder
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- 2 tbsp oil
- Butter or ghee for basting
Directions & How to
- Wash and pat dry chicken pieces on a clean cloth, keep aside.
- Add all the ingredients for the marinade in a grinder and make a fine paste without adding any water.
- Marinate the chicken in the marinade for at least 6 to 8 hrs or preferably overnight.
- Thread the chicken onto the skewers. Use the leftover marinade to baste the chicken while cooking.
- Cook the chicken ovee charcoal grill or in an oven at 200*C till done. Keep basting with butter and leftover marinade in between.
- Serve with chaat masala and lemon wedges.
