About this recipe
Fried Eggplant is a simple and tasty dish. Eggplants marinated in red chilli sauce and herbs and fried. Can be served as a starter or as a side dish.
Required ingredients
- 4-5 medium sized brinjal or egg plant – cut into thin slices
- 2 tbsp beaten yoghurt
- 1 tsp red chilli sauce
- 1 tsp red chilli paste
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp cumin powder
- ½ tsp mixed dried herbs - oregano, parsley, basil
- Salt to taste
- 4-5 tbsp oil
Directions & How to
- Mix chilli powder, chilli sauce, garlic powder, cumin powder, dried herbs and salt in the yoghurt. Marinate egg plant slices in it for around 10 minutes.
- Heat oil in a frying pan, and fry the egg plant slices till done.
- Serve hot.
