Hot and sour Mushroom sauteed in tomato chilli sauce, is a easy quick fix dish that can be fixed in a very short time.

Required ingredients

  • 200 grams mushrooms
  • 10-12 flakes garlic
  • 3 large tomatoes
  • 1 large capsicum
  • 1 tsp tomato sauce
  • ½ tsp soya sauce
  • ½ tsp vinegar
  • ¼ tsp ginger powder
  • ½ tsp chilli powder
  • ½ tsp pepper powder
  • Salt to taste
  • A pinch of mono-sodium glutamate – ajinomoto
  • 1 ½ tbsp oil

Directions & How to

  • Cut mushrooms in quarters. Finely chop the garlic. Cut capsicum into cubes. Blanch the tomatoes, remove skin and cut into thin slices.
  • In a small bowl mix soya sauce, tomato sauce and vinegar.
  •  Heat oil in a wok, add garlic, when it turns golden brown add tomatoes and salt. Cook it covered for 2 -3 minutes.
  • Add chilli powder, pepper powder and ginger powder. Add  mushrooms and capsicum and mix it well. Add the sauce mixture and mix it again, throw in a pinch of mono-sodium glutamate and sauté it well for around 3-4 minutes.
  • Serve hot.
