Soya Bean Curry is full of protein and vitamins. It can be served as a main or side dish. You can also make it dry to go with other gravy dish of yours.

Required ingredients

  • 1 cup soya bean chunks
  • ½ cup green beans, finely chopped
  • ½ cup carrots, finely chopped
  • 1 small onion sliced finely
  • 1 tsp ginger garlic paste
  • ¼ cup thick tomato paste
  • ½ tsp red chilli powder
  • ½ tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp coriander powder
  • ½ tsp garam masala powder
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2-3 tbsp oil
  • Salt to taste

Directions & How to

  • Prepare the soya chunks as per packet instruction and keep aside.
  • Heat oil in a wok; add the beans and carrot and fry for 3-4 minutes. Strain and keep aside.
  • To the same oil, add onions and fry till golden.
  • Now add ginger garlic paste and sauté for couple of minutes.
  • Add the tomato and cook further few minutes and then add all the masala powders.
  • Cook till oil starts to float on top. Then add the vegetables, soya chunks and salt and mix very well.
  • Remove from heat and let it cool down for about 5 minutes before adding milk.
  • Now add the milk stir it well and cook it covered on low heat till you get the desired consistency.
  • Garnish with coriander leaves and serve with paranthas.
