Goley Kebab (Pan seared round kebabs) is a very tasty and easy kebab. It can be served as side dish or starter or be rolled in rumali rotis to make wonderful wraps.

Required ingredients

  • 500g mutton mince
  • 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste
  • 3-4 green chillies
  • 2 medium  onion slices,  golden fried and crushed
  • ½ cup chopped dill leaves (soya)
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tsp garam masala powder
  • 1/4th tsp red chilli powder
  • Oil to fry

Directions & How to

  • Wash and strain the mince. Squeeze with your hands to drain all the water.
  • Transfer to a food processor; add green chilies and run for few seconds. We do not want a paste.
  • Now transfer to a large a glass bowl; add all the ingredients except oil and knead well for 5 minutes.
  • Shape them like round balls (as the name suggests) about size of a lemon.
  • Heat the oil in a frying pan. Place the kebabs in a single layer (as many as your frying pans allows).
  • Cover it with a lid and let it cook on low heat till all the water evaporates.
  • When all the water evaporates; remove the lid and cook the kebabs on high heat till they are crispy. (At this stage you can remove the kebabs from heat and fry them later to be served hot.)
  • Serve with your favourite dip.
