Falafel is a popular arabic dish very similar to Indian flavours. Quick and easy to make .

Required ingredients

  • 2 cup soaked kabuli chana (chickpeas)
  • 2-3 garlic cloves
  • 1 tsp red chilli powder
  • 1 tbsp chopped coriander leaves
  • 2 green chillies
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil to deep fry

Directions & How to

  • Put all the ingredients except oil in a food processor and grind to a coarse paste by adding as little water as you can.
  • Heat oil in a wok, take 1 tbsp of batter in your palm, shape it like a ball and drop it in the oil. Add 4-5 balls at a time, fry till golden brown.
  • Serve with chutney.
