Bread Crispy Fingers are fun food to eat. They are easy to make and kids will love them.

Required ingredients

  • 4 bread slices
  • 3 medium sized boiled potatoes, peeled
  • 1 tbsp grated cheese
  • 1tsp chopped coriander
  • ½ tsp chilli powder
  • ½ tsp cumin powder
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds (til), to sprinkle
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil to shallow fry

Directions & How to

  • Cut the edges from the breads and keep aside.
  • Take boiled potatoes in a mixing bowl and add cheese, coriander, cumin and chilli powders and salt.
  • Mash very well with a potato masher, without leaving any lumps.
  • Divide the potato into 4 portions equally and apply 1 portion on each slice.
  • Sprinkle sesame seeds; press lightly and cut each slice of bread in 4 strips.
  • Heat 2 tsp oil in a non stick pan and fry the bread strips with bread side facing down first.
  • Serve hot with tomato sauce.
